“DIPTI” Pile Grippers are unique and marvelous engineering invention for the installation of offshore jackets. After driving pile through them, pile grippers are employed for the leveling of jackets and restricts any movement of the jacket during grouting.
At mid-sea, waves and storm forces cause relative movements of jacket with piles which may damage the pile foundation severely. Hence, to restrict such relative or rotational movement of jacket, pile grippers fitted on jackets are actuated hydraulically/pneumatically to hold pile firmly and restrict any relative movement.
"DIPTI” Pile Grippers are also used to level jackets before grouting and are very essential to stop slightest displacement of jacket during the setting time of grout materials. All pile grippers manufactured by IRM go through a mandatory in house load test. |
