“DIPTI” DW series “W” Type Fenders are an improvision of the Arch and Flat Top Arch Fenders. These fenders have more deflection and better energy/reaction ratio in comparison to the Cylindrical, Arch & Flat Top Arch Fenders. As the fender has a wider face, the hull pressure is relatively low as compared to both Arch and Flat Top Arch Fenders.
These types of fenders can be easily installed and they are maintenance free. A wide range is available for different vessels. These fenders are molded under very high load in a single piece encapsulating the steel plates in the base of the fender legs for fitment to the wharf. This fender has a long life in extreme duty conditions.
All types of large vessels can be berthed on these fenders due to its better resilience and deflection. The “DW” Type Fenders can be fitted to any type of berthing structure with ease. These fenders can also be suplemted with anti-friction and anti-sparking UHMW facia pads to increase its service life.
The excellent mechanical properties of rubber coupled with very good resistance towards sea water, ozone aging, and U V rays make it a preferred fender for most applications and for a wide variety of vessels too. |
